My name is Kenneth Jiam. My mission as a firearms instructor is to make sure my students/clients are educated in the safe use of their firearms through INDIVIDUAL training.

I accomplish this with classroom education, range time, and online instructional resources. What sets me apart from the other instructors is the fact that I would not mix you into a large group of strangers where you tend to not receive any individual attention. When you schedule a training with me, it is only you (and anyone you might bring with you) and I.

Classroom:

The optional classroom portion would cover all aspects of firearms including, but not limited to:

• Firearm safety
• Terminology
• How to operate a firearm
• Proper technique
• Firearm maintenance
• How to choose the right firearm for your use

And of course I will answer any questions you might have to the best of my knowledge. This would be a great benefit for those who either have never owned a firearm before, or have never had any kind of formal education about firearms.

Unlike other instructors, I do not try to fill classrooms. I like to teach small groups or individuals so that you get as much one-on-one attention as possible. I don't want anyone feeling too embarrassed to express that something is not well understood because they are in front of a crowd of people they do not know, or afraid to speak up in fear of holding up the rest of the class.

Range Instruction:

In an air-conditioned environment, I will quickly review the safety rules with you and observe how you interact with the firearm. I will walk you through the fundamentals of pistol shooting and after the fundamentals are down, start working on perfecting your shooting technique.
